The 10th Latin American Music Gala has taken place in Hanoi to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Cuba’s revolution and welcome New Year 2019.

The event was held by the Hanoi Union of Friendship Organizations and Hanoi City’s Vietnam - Cuba Friendship Association in coordination with embassies of Latin American countries in Vietnam.
With a passionate musical language, the event introduced the unique culture of Latin American countries.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vice Head of Hanoi Union of Friendship Organizations Tran Thi Phuong said the event contributed to strengthening the solidarity, friendship and mutual understanding between Vietnamese and the people of Latin American countries.

For his part, Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in Vietnam Lianys Torres Rivera thanked Hanoi Union of Friendship Organizations and relevant units for the event’s organization. She expressed the wish that the program would continue to be held in the future, creating a playground for the community of Latin American countries who are living, studying and working in Vietnam to meet and exchange./.
