Leaders of Ho Chi Minh city offer incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh

A delegation of Ho Chi Minh city on May 19th paid tribute and offered incense to President Ho Chi Minh at the city-based Ho Chi Minh Museum in district 1, on the occasion of the 128th anniversary of the President’s birth.

The delegation included representatives from Ho Chi Minh city Party Committee, People’s Council and People’s Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front in Ho Chi Minh city, led by Nguyen Thi Quyet Tam, Vice Secretary of Ho Chi Minh city Party Committee and chairwoman of Ho Chi Minh city People’s Council.

Former Politburo member and former Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, former leaders of the Party and State, leaders of committees and sectors in districts, armed forces and local people also attended the ceremony.

Representatives took a moment to remember the life and career of the President, who devoted his life to national liberation and worked tirelessly for peace and progress across the world.

The delegation also visited an exhibition on President Ho Chi Minh and the patriotic movement, held by the museum. Nearly 160 documents and photos on the role of the President and the movement were displayed./.
