Mr Vo Van Thuong receives Youth Division of Japan’s Liberal Democratic Party delegation

Mr Vo Van Thuong, Politburo member, PCC Secretary and head of the PCC Commission of Popularization and Education, received the Youth Division of Japan’s Liberal Democratic Party delegation, during its visit to Vietnam from August 21st to 25th.

The delegation was led by Keisuke Suzuki, Deputy General Secretary of Japan’s Liberal Democratic Party and head of the Youth Division of Japan’s Liberal Democratic Party.

Mr. Thuong appreciated the contribution of Keisuke Suzuki and other members of the Youth Division of Japan’s Liberal Democratic Party to the promotion of bilateral relations. He said that the relations between the two countries are developing strongly in all fields, especially after the Statement on the common vision of Vietnam-Japan cooperation after the visit to Japan by Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong in September 2015. He also affirmed that the Party and State have always attached importance to relations with Japan, identifying Japan as a leading and long-term partner of Vietnam.

He expressed his hope that the two sides would cooperate to implement agreements between the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Liberal Democratic Party of Japan to promote exchanges between agencies and organizations of the two parties, especially young leaders and members.

Keisuke Suzuki said that in the near future, the two sides will cooperate to help the bilateral relation develop sustainably and suitably, benefiting the peoples of both countries, and work together with each other and other countries for stable development in the region and in the world./.
