Politburo member, secretary of the Party Central Committee and head of the Party Central Committee Commission for Popularization and Education Vo Van Thuong on June 14th visited and congratulated two senor journalists to mark 93rd anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21st).
The journalists are Phan Quang, former General Director of the Voice of Vietnam and journalist Ha Dang, former Editor-in-chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper.
On behalf of the Party and State leaders, Mr. Thuong sent best wishes to senior journalists and appreciated their contribution to the cause of revolutionary press in general and ideological works in particular.

Despite of age, the two journalists continued to write articles, share experience and dedication to the profession for generations of journalist.
The Politburo member emphasized that during each revolutionary period, the press played an important role, contributing voice on all fronts of politics, ideology, culture, security, national defence and economy. In the current period, the press should continue to promote its position and role to timely provide information to readers.
