Activities to celebrate the National Independence Day (September 2nd) and festival to explore the national scenery Mu Cang Chai terraced fields 2019 aim to create exciting atmosphere for people and tourists and honour the terraced fields.

Activities to celebrate the National Indepdence Day will start in the evening of August 31st. Before the opening ceremony, there will be an artistic performance of ethnic groups in Mu Cang Chai district. Three ethnic groups will show their traditional clothes, perform their traditional musical instruments and have exchange with tourists along the road to the district center.
Mu Cang Chai fair will take place from August 31st to September 25th with 30 stalls of consumer products, high-quality Vietnamese goods, local agricultural, forestry and fishery products, and knitting products. Especially, the cultural stall decoration contest will be held from August 31st to September 2nd and markets during weekend in September.
Folk games will be organized from August 31st to September 2nd and September 21st to 22nd together with specific cultural activities on Saturday and Sunday at the district center stadium and Khau Pha pass in Cao Pha commune.
The paragliding festival "Flying over the golden season" will take place in La Pan Tan commune and Khau pass, Cao Pha commune from August 31st to September 1st and from September 21st to 22nd.
A photo exhibition on Mu Cang Chai terraced fields will be also held./.
