The first national Dao ethnic cultural day will take place in the northern mountainous province of Tuyen Quang on September 29th and 30th.

The event is expected to draw the participation of Dao ethnic people from 12 localities: Tuyen Quang, Ha Giang, Cao Bang, Bac Kan, Thai Nguyen, Son La, Lai Chau, Phu Tho, Vinh Phuc, Hanoi, Quang Ninh and Thanh Hoa.
During the festival, there will be diverse activities such as mass art performance, show on Dao ethnic women’s clothes, performance of Dao ethnic cultural activities, exhibition on Dao ethnic group, introduction on Dao ethnic gastronomy and Dao ethnic traditional sports.
In addition, Tuyen Quang province will organize a seminar on the preservation and promotion of Dao ethnic culture heritage and tourism activities at the event and tourist places.
The festival aims to honor the beauty of the traditional culture of the Dao ethnic group in the community of 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups. It will be an opportunity to exchange experiences in preserving and promoting the traditional culture of the Dao ethnic group in national integration and development./.
