Editor-in-chief of the Communist Party of Vietnam Online Newspaper Tran Doan Tien, who is also Deputy Head of the Competition Organizing Committee and Head of Content Subcommittee, made a speech at the launching ceremony of the competition. 


Editor-in-chief of the Communist Party of Vietnam Online Newspaper Tran Doan Tien, who is also Deputy Head of the Competition Organizing Committee and Head of Content Subcommittee, said the number of people and the number of participants exam increased rapidly. This was the first success of the competition.

In the first week (from August 28th to September 1st), 18,777 participants took part in the contest. 978 people answered all five questions correctly. 1,576,000 people studied the Party's history on the Communist Party of Vietnam Online Newspaper at dangcongsan.vn and VCNET at http://vcnet.vn. In particular, participants come from 62 provinces and cities.

Le Quang Chung from Muong Thanh precinct, Dien Bien Phu city, won the first prize in the first contest.

In the second week (from September 2nd to 9th), a total of 40,373 participants took part in the competition. 2,334 people answered all five questions correctly. 1,765,000 people studied the Party's history on the Communist Party of Vietnam Online Newspaper and VCNET.

Participants came from 63 provinces and cities. In particular, many localites have large numbers of site hits such as Nghe An (7,863); Ninh Binh (4,230); Quang Ninh (3,789), Dien Bien (3,611); Binh Phuoc (3,457); Vinh Long (2,985); Ha Tinh (2,964); and Ho Chi Minh city (2,304).
