The launch at the page http://hochiminh.vn for the Vietnamese language and http://english.hochiminh.vn for the English language aimed to mark the 129th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19th) and the 50th anniversary since the implementation of his testament.

Addressing the launch ceremony, Mr. Vo Van Phuong, PCC member and Standing Deputy Head of the PCC Commission on Popularization and Education and Head of the Steering Committee of the page, stressed that Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Online Newspaper had been assigned to develop and operate the page, which is both a great honour and an important political task, contributing to increasing the dissemination of the implementation of Politburo Decree 05-CT/TW on studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style.
He urged CPV Online Newspaper to collect more documents about President Ho Chi Minh with strict inspection; update good models on; and honour outstanding followers of President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style.

According to Mr. Tran Doan Tien, CPV Online Newspaper Editor-in-chief, since the launch of the page 4 years ago, it has attracted tens of millions of domestic and international readers who want to study President Ho Chi Minh’s life and career.
“The new interface of the page, which uses the most modern Microsoft technology and provides multi-media means of communications with online database, aims to provide easier access to readers, thus continuing to encourage classes of people to study and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style,” he said. “The page has posted thousands of articles on President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style; updated new studies on President Ho Chi Minh by domestic and foreign scientists; honoured outstanding followers of President Ho Chi Minh’s example.”

He stressed that the page also provided readers the system of President Ho Chi Minh’s works and the works on President Ho Chi Minh, using multi-media communications such as films, videos, pictures, audio and 3D museum.
