Nha Trang city to host Festival of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity

The Festival of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity will open on June 14th in Nha Trang city, the central province of Khanh Hoa.

The event will be held by the Department of Grassroots Culture under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with Khanh Hoa provincial Department of Culture and Sports as part of activities to respond to the National Tourism Year 2019 in Khanh Hoa with the theme "Nha Trang - Colors of the Sea".

It will draw the participation of provinces and cities that possess UNESCO's representative intangible cultural heritages.

Vietnam’s traditional cultural features which are recognized as the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO, such as Hue royal court music, the Central Highlands gong culture space, Quan ho folk singing and Ca tru singing will be introduced at the festival.

An exhibition pm cultural heritage and Vietnam’s sea and island tourism will be held to promote and honor value of tangible and intangible culture and unique tourist products of Vietnamese islands and sea./.
