The Nhan Dan Online on June 18th held a ceremony to mark the 20th anniversary of first publication.

Nhan Dan Online was first published on June 21st, 1998. It updates news in all fields in Vietnam, the region and the world; provides Party policies and State laws in the renovation, national construction and global integration. Information has been updated in five languages, including Vietnamese, English, Chinese, French and Russian. It was presented the third-class Labour Order in 2013; certificates of merit of the Prime Minister twice; certificates of merit and emulation flag of Nhan Dan Newspaper.
Speaking at the ceremony, 12th PCC member, deputy head of the PCC Commission of Popularization and Education and Editor-in-chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper Thuan Huu appreciated achievements of Nhan Dan Online over the past 20 years, saying that the debut was a significant event of the Newspaper.
Mr. Huu urged the Nhan Dan Online staffs to continually train themselves both professionally and ethically in order to produce influential reports so the unit can retain its current readership and attract more readers./.
