The lighting up of the gateway to the city, connecting Tay Ho and Dong Anh district, a symbol of connections between people, is especially meaningful in 2018 as the two sides celebrate 45 years of multi-faceted bilateral diplomatic relations.

The Netherlands has been a strong strategic partner of Vietnam in the fields of water and agriculture, the two fields of vital importance for Vietnamese people and economy.

On the Day in the Netherlands, the whole country turns into orange with flags, clothes and even drinks. People pour out to the streets, celebrate the Day by attending several “free markets”, outdoor concerts or sports events in public places. The King, the Queen and their Princesses will visit as every year a provincial Dutch town to engage and enjoy with the local people./.
