People’s Artist Vuong Duy Bien brings familiar images about Vietnam to France

An exhibition of 70 artistic works by People’s Artist Vuong Duy Bien will take place in France from September 18th to 29th as part of Vietnam Tourism and Culture Work in France to mark the 45th anniversary of Vietnam-France diplomatic ties.

Titled “C’est la vie” (It’s life), the exhibition will introduce familiar images about Vietnam to French friends.

In the framework of the exhibition, there will be performances of dance and puppetry, helping visitors understand more about Vietnamese culture.

The exhibition will run at District 13 Administration House in Paris from September 18th to 22nd, and at Versailles Administration House in Versailles City from September 26th to 29th.

Born in 1958 in Hanoi, People’s Artist Vuong Duy Bien graduated from Vietnam University of Fine Arts in 1987 and is former Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism. In the cause of arts, many of his artworks have been exhibited in museums in Great Britain, France, the US and Japan. His works often reflect peaceful beauty in life, association with daily life and culture of Vietnamese peasants./.
