Photo exhibition on Hanoi architecture in past and present

132 outstanding photos of Hanoi architecture, in the past and at present, are on display in at an exhibition which opened in Hanoi on July 13th.

The event is co-organised by the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists and the Hanoi Artistic Photography Association.

The exhibited photos were selected from 1,446 works submitted to the sixth Hanoi Arts Photography Festival.

They capture traditional and modern characteristics, as well as historical and cultural values of different structures in Hanoi, such as temples, pagodas, buildings, monuments and urban sceneries, according to Vu Quoc Khanh, Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists.

The festival’s organising board presented two silver and three bronze medals and five consolidation prizes to the most outstanding photos.

The exhibition will run at the Exhibition House at 45 Trang Tien street until July 16th./.
