Photo exhibition on Ho Chi Minh city opens

A photo exhibition on Ho Chi Minh city’s 42 years of peace, development and integration has opened in Ho Chi Minh city.

The event is held to celebrate the Southern Liberation and National Reunification Day (April 30th) and May Day.

The exhibition introduces the struggle of people and soldiers in southern Vietnam, assistance from northern Vietnam, great contributions by three fronts, including the Central Highlands, Hue - Da Nang and Sai Gon. Photos of Sai Gon - Ho Chi Minh city over 42 years of development with many outstanding and modern architectural works, are also exhibited.

On this occasion, the Ho Chi Minh city Organizing Board of Great Festivals also held exhibitions on upholding the patriotic tradition of working class in industrialization and modernization, and protecting the cause of national defence, renovation and development in the city.

The exhibitions will run until May 10th./.
