Photos honor responsibility of Vietnamese dads

(CPV) - The Embassy of Sweden has announced and honored the most outstanding entries of the national photo contest “Vietnamese dads” in celebration of the 15th anniversary of Vietnam Family Day (June 28th).
In her speech at the honoring ceremony, Camilla Mellander, Swedish Ambassador to Vietnam said after three months of launching, the contest received more than 1,000 amazing photos from photographers nationwide.
Each photo brings different messages about the role of men in their family.
Photo winning the first prize
The first prize was presented to photographer Huynh Nam Dong’s photo depicting a young father cuddling his premature newborn on his chest, giving him skin-to-skin contact.
Photo awarded the second prize
Photographer Tran Thiet Dung capturing a Mong man walking on a narrow mountainous road on Ha Giang karst plateau earned the second prize.
Photo earning the public vote
Meanwhile, photo of Dao Anh Tuan capturing a father and his children in the middle of a vast wildflower field won the public vote with 9,500 Likes on Facebook, awarded the third prize.
The contest was sponsored by the Embassy of Sweden in Hanoi the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism./.
