Photos on General Vo Nguyen Giap and Viet Bac base to be displayed

More than 200 photos and objects on General Vo Nguyen Giap and Viet Bac base will be displayed at an exhibition to open on October 3rd at Vietnam Military History Museum at No.28A Dien Bien Phu street, Ba Dinh district, Hanoi.
The event aims to pay tribute to General Vo Nguyen Giap in the cause of national liberation, building and protecting the nation, especially during his time at Viet Bac base and important decisions, contributing to the victory of the struggle against the French colonialits.

It hosts by the Vietnam Military History Museum in coordination with Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang and Lang Son province to mark the 5th anniversary of the General's death (October 4th)./.
