Poster contest to celebrate 129th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s birth

The Department of Grassroots Culture under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism launched a poster contest to mark the 129th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s birth (May 19th) and 50 years of implementing his Testament.

The contest aims to provide information on the glorious revolutionary life of President Ho Chi Minh; honour his great contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation, the Communist movement and international workers. It also shows the gratitude of the Vietnamese people and the affection and respect of the people of countries in the world for President Ho Chi Minh.
It is also an opportunity to promote the results of 3 years implementing Politburo Directive 05-CT-TW on promoting to study and follow President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, ethnics and style in all sectors, localities and honouring outstanding groups and individuals, good people and good deeds.
Participants are professional and non-professional painters, Vietnamese citizens and overseas Vietnamese. Each author can send one or more works with dimensions of 54x79cm. The work must be done in recent times, and have not been submitted to other contests. Entries can be sent by April 10th./.
