President Ho Chi Minh’s Childhood Memorial in Hue restored

The Central Thua Thien - Hue provincial People’s Committee has decided to allocate VND1.6 billion from the capital for Cultural Development Objective Program 2017-2018 to upgrade President Ho Chi Minh’s Childhood Memorial.

Situated at No.112 Mai Thuc Loan street, Hue city, the memorial is place where Uncle Ho’s family lived from 1895 to 1901.
The house contributed to molding and forming the patriotic ideology of the President, thus motivating his resolve to find the way to save the country and the people.
The main and additional houses of the relic will be restored according to the origin; the garden and fence will be improved; trees will be planted; name plates and sign-posts will be installed. The works will be completed in 2018./.
