The exchange will take place in Hoi An ancient town and An Hoi sculpture garden from August 9th to 11th with many exchange and entertainment activities that promise to bring visitors many interesting experiences about two ethnic cultures.

Activities will include fine arts and crafts exhibition, painting and photography exhibition, Japanese calligraphy letters teaching, traditional art performances and Hoi An - Japan traditional sports competitions, street exchange: Yosakoi dance, Shakuhachi flutes performance, Cosplay performance, experiencing activities in making lanterns, Origami paper folding, Coconut leaf folding, Japanese cultural experience and Hoi An farmers market.

The opening ceremony will begin at 20h00 on August 9th at the stage of An Hoi sculpture garden, seeing arts performances of Hoi An and Japan.

In addition, the Vietnam - International Silk and Brocatelle Culture Festival will take place from August 8th to 9th at Hoi An silk village with the participation of the International Silk Association, Asia and Japan Silk Association, Mekong Institute, domestic and foreign silk and brocatelle enterprises.

The event contributes to introduce Hoi An fashion sewing, Quang Nam silk industry to international silk market and contributes to Hoi An city a culture - tourism product on the foundation of silk - brocatelle culture exploitation./.
