The award is held by the Party Central Committee Commission for Organization in coordination of the Communist Review and Vietnam Television on the occasion of President Ho Chi Minh’s birthday (May 19th).
This will contribute to improving awareness of cadres, reporters and editors in creating press works on Party building.
The award will be for all Vietnamese citizens, including for both professional and non-professional journalists who have press works in Vietnamese or ethnic languages broadcast on mass media from November 11th 2015 to October 31st 2016.

Press works reflect Party building in different fields such as politics, ideology, organization, ethics, popularization and education, inspection, mobilization, foreign affairs and corruption prevention.
The award aims to affirming the position, role and importance of Party building; creating motivation to improve quality of providing information on Party building on mass media; improving awareness of cadres and party members in the political system and the whole society on Party building, contributing to build strong and pure Party.
In recent years, press agencies in the locality and central press agency representative in the locality has had many works on party building, said Ms Do Thi Hoang, permanent vice secretary of Quang Ninh provincial Party Committee.
She added that many press works on Party building had left important mark, especially those related to renovating methods and improving capacity of the leadership and combativeness of the Party.
Ms. Hoang also asked all cadres, Party members, party committees, press agencies and local people to participate in providing information, sharing experiences, strengthening research and creating works on Party building to take part in the award./.
