Sixth international day of Yoga to be marked in Vietnam

The embassy has promoted yoga through online mode and will celebrate the event under the theme “Yoga from home”.

In the run up to the event, Swami Vivekanand Cultural Center has been organizing a series of online yoga related activities including seminars on “yoga asanas” and “Ayurveda and best daily lifestyle practices”.

The video blogging contest “My life – my yoga” has also been launched. Participants from Vietnam performing yoga asanas from their respective places are required to upload their videos on the Embassy’s social media platforms. The three best videos will receive attractive prizes given by the embassy.

The event will officially be launched on June 21^st at the Iconic Ha Long Bay and will be live streamed on the Embassy’s social media platforms in order to take the event virtually to thousands of yoga enthusiasts and encourage them to join the celebrations remotely./.
