Special program for children at Museum of the Cultures of Vietnam's Ethnic Groups

The Museum of the Cultures of Vietnam's Ethnic Groups will organize a special program for children on June 1st (the International Children’s Day).

The event will be held on the occasion of the Action Month for Children under the theme “Joining hands for poor children and ethnic minority children” to respond the Prime Minister’s call for working together to solve plastic waste.

Accordingly, a series of activities will be held, including water puppet show; donations to support poor ethnic minority children; experience of folk games such as tug-of-war, sack jumping and walking on stilts; making traditional crafts such as kites, pinwheels and lanterns; recycling materials from waste and the encouragement of using natural packaging products to replace the use of plastic bags and once-use plastic containers to limit plastic waste; Painting on the hometown’s environment.

It will be an opportunity for children to experience reality, improve knowledge and awareness in the preservation of the beauty of traditional culture as well as raising awareness of environmental protection, contributing to promoting the country to develop and beautify the environment and living space./.
