Strengthening cultural cooperation between Ho Chi Minh Museum and Ben Gurion Heritage Institute

The cooperation agreement signing ceremony between the Ho Chi Minh Museum and the Ben Gurion Heritage Institute took place on September 8 in an online event bridging Vietnam and Israel.

The event aimed to promote cooperative relationships and strengthen strategic cultural heritage research exchanges between the two countries.

In the framework of the cooperation agreement, the two sides will coordinate to implement scientific and cultural research projects in the field of museums; and exchange delegations on experiences, museum operations and exhibition activities with the biography, life and career of President Ho Chi Minh of Vietnam and Prime Minister David Ben Gurion of Israel. In 2021, the two sides will jointly organize an exhibition at the Ben Gurion Heritage Institute in Israel and an exhibition at the Ho Chi Minh Museum in Vietnam.

At the ceremony, Director of Ho Chi Minh Museum Vu Manh Ha affirmed that the signing of the Cooperation Agreement between the Ho Chi Minh Museum and the Ben Gurion Heritage Institute is an opportunity to strengthen the relationship between the two museums, as well as strengthening cooperation in the field of science and culture between the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the State of Israel in general.

Mr. Ha believes that the signed cooperation agreement will open up a great opportunity for the public of the two countries to have deeper access to President Ho Chi Minh of Vietnam and Prime Minister David Ben Gurion of Israel, strengthening understanding between the people of Vietnam and Israel.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nadav Eshcar, Ambassador of Israel to Vietnam, emphasized that there are many similarities in the life stories of Prime Minister David Ben Gurion and President Ho Chi Minh.

“This cooperation between the two agencies in research, exhibition, and exchange of knowledge and experience will be invaluable. The Israeli public will have the opportunity to learn more about President Ho Chi Minh and Vietnam's history. The Vietnamese public will have the opportunity to learn more about Prime Minister Ben Gurion and Israel's history. And both sides will have a better understanding of the two leaders' special relationship,” said the Israeli Ambassador to Vietnam.

Within the framework of the event, the Ben Gurion Heritage Institute conducted an online tour of the housing heritage of David Ben Gurion in Israel for the attendees with many interesting details./.
