A summer camp for children of Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia is taking place in Ho Chi Minh (HCM) city from July 31st to August 4th.

The event draws the participation of 205 children from the three countries and 41 officials who are typical examples in studying and children’s activities. 57 participants are from Cambodian localities of Phnom Penh, Battanmbang, Kampot, Svay Rieng, and Kratie; 54 from the Lao provinces of Vientiane, Champasak, and Attapeu; and 135 Vietnamese delegates from HCM city and border provinces such as Kon Tum, Binh Phuoc, Tay Ninh, Long An, and Kien Giang.
Participants have taken diverse activities such as offering incense and flowers to President Ho Chi Minh at at the municipal Children’s House; visiting Ho Chi Minh Museum and the Cu Chi tunnels; experiencing the river bus route; and attending a cultural exchange programme and meet with leaders of HCM city.
