In the coming time, the Hoi An City Center for Management of Cultural Heritage will continue conducting surveys and compiling dossiers to submit to authorities measures to upgrade seriously degraded relics. Statistics in June 2017 showed that there were six seriously degraded relics, 22 heavily damaged relics and 14 slightly damaged relics.

Hoi An People's Committee has assigned the center to coordinate with precinct People’s Committees to guide relics’ owners to reinforce the degraded portions in order to ensure safety and property before rainy season.

Between January-June of 2018, the center has handed over six restored relics works, repaired and installed information signs in Cam Thanh and Cam Kim communes, and conduct five new construction works.

In the last nine months, it received, surveyed and gave consultancy to People’s Committee 201 permissions on repairing and restoring houses./.
