Tra Vinh to celebrate Ok Om Bok Festival from November 16th to 22nd

The Tra Vinh Ok Om Bok Festival 2018 and Southern Food Festival, Tourism and Culture Festival will take place from November 16th to 22nd.

The event aims to introduce to tourists the provincial potential and advantages, looking to attract investment in different fields, especially in culture and tourism.

The Tra Vinh Ok Om Bok Festival which was recognized as national intangible cultural heritage, is held every year to attract many tourists and introduce specific culture of the Khmer ethnic group and Tra Vinh people in general.

Visitors have chance to enjoy an exhibition on nine districts and city in the province, a ceremony to debut a mural street under the Khmer ethnic Cultural Village in Tra Vinh province, Khmer ethnic volleyball championship, photo exhibition and awarding ceremony of the photo contest on Tra Vinh tourism, survey on tours in the province, southern food festival, seminar on tourism connection in the east of Mekong river delta, and folk games./.
