Training course on gongs for students in Dak Lak province

The training course drew the participation of 80 students from ethnic minority groups from the Central Highlands University. Artisans of the province will directly teach students how to play bronze and bamboo gongs. 

This is an activity in the program of implementing the provincial resolution of August 30th 2016 by the Dak Lak provincial People's Council on preserving and promoting the heritage of cultural space of gongs in Dak Lak province in the 2016 - 2020 period.

The project has helped to organize training courses on playing gongs, telling epics, reinstating festivals, and supporting expenditure for gong clubs and community cultural houses for gong performances and exchanges; collect ancient gong performances and publish books and CDs on gong performances./.
