Training course on Vietnam - Laos border affairs in Nghe An province

The event focused on reviewing the results and significance of implementing the project on increasing and upgrading Vietnam-Laos border markers, protecting border and legal documents, including the Protocol on Vietnam – Laos borderline and border markers, and the Vietnam - Laos Agreement on Border and Border Gate Management Regulations.

This laid the foundation to define a common border in the field and in legal documents to help functional forces and people of the two countries be aware of the national border lines and border markers, and solve problems related to border management, contributing to building a Vietnam - Laos border of peace, stability, friendship, cooperation and sustainable development.

The training course also affirmed the important role of village heads and prestigious people in dissemination of Vietnam - Laos solidarity and friendship. Therefore, each person will be more responsible in maintaining and promoting the relationship./.
