Two Vietnamese works listed in 50 inspiring photos of Women2019 Photo Contest

Vietnam has two works listed among the top 50 most impressive photos depicting portraits of women, which were announced by #Women2019 Photo Contest organized by AGORA Images, a free-to-use photography app.

 

The contest aims to catch the best moments about women through photographic lenses. Through the contest, viewers can see true images of women in the contemporary world around the globe, portrait photos without the usual corrective measures in the age of social media. In addition, viewers also see strong, enduring, independent, brave and enigmatic women all over the world.

As many as 50 photos reached the final round from 12,250 submissions. One photo will be presented the sole prize of USD1,000 voted by viewers.

Two among 50 photos depict portraits of Vietnamese women.

 

The work “Champa Eyes” is conducted by Tuan Ngoc. The photographer shared that one time he visited to Phan Rang city and he was impressed by eyes of a Cham girl named Sa Pa. In the photo, she wears a traditional shawl. Particularly, Sa Pa has two-colour eyes while her siblings have only brown or only blue eyes.
