Typical cultural heritage of Kon Tum to be introduced in Hanoi

More than 200 objects, documents and images on typical cultural heritage of the Central Highlands province of Kon Tum will be introduced at an exhibition which will open at the Vietnam National Museum of History in Hanoi on January 20th.

The exhibition will be held by the Kon Tum provincial People’s Committee and the Vietnam National Museum of History to introduce the culture, people and nature of the Central Highlands province of Kon Tum, along with the potential for economic, cultural, tourism developments and investment promotion of the whole region in general and Kon Tum province in particular.

It will provide an overview of the culture, nature and tourism products of Kon Tum province to Hanoi’s people through objects such as farming, hunting and fishing tools, household appliances; copper pots, costumes, jewelry, musical instruments and scientific documents; and present traditional handicraft performances: pottery making of Ba Na people, yarn-dyeing and weaving of Xo Dang people, hunting, fishing tools and musical instruments use, folk songs and traditional musical instrument performances.

Especially, Ngoc Linh ginseng which is dubbed as a national treasure grown in Kon Tum will be highlighted.

The organizing panel will apply advanced technology such as touch screen, 3D/4D technology to introduce objects./.
