The scholarship fund has carried out many projects, including a project on opening the future for 50 ethnic girls. Starting in 2009-2010 school year, the first period of the project selected 50 outstanding girls from 22 ethnic minority groups from 28 provinces and cities nationwide to present full-time scholarships (including three years at high school and four years at university).

The vice chairwoman of the National Assembly expressed her emotion, noting the outstanding efforts of ethnic girls who received the scholarship on opening the future from the fund. She said the Party and State have always provided conditions for ethnic people to study and promote themselves. She urged them to pursue higher education and contribute to socio-economic development in their home villages./.
