Vietnam Film Week in Spain

Vietnam Film Week in Spain is taking place in the framework of Vietnam Day in Spain from May 23rd to 25th, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Spain.

The event is being held by the Department of External Culture and UNESCO, under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in coordination with the Vietnam Embassy in Spain.

Accordingly, four Vietnamese films are being introduced, including the film “Cuoc doi cua Yen” (Yen’s life), “Toi thay hoa vang tren co xanh” (Yellow Flowers on Green Grass), “Quyen”, and “Dao cua dan ngu cu” (The Way Station).

The film “Cuoc doi cua Yen” (Yen’s life) won the best film title at the 9th World Premieres Film Festival of the Philippines in 2016.

Diverse activities such as exhibitions of paintings, photos, handicrafts and fine art articles, and folk games are being held to introduce the Vietnamese culture to the Spanish public./.
