Vietnam – Japan cultural exchange festival in Da Nang

The Vietnam – Japan cultural exchange festival took place at Dong A University in the central city of Da Nang to mark the 47th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan (September 21st, 1973 - September 21st, 2020).

Opening the festival this year, 11 stalls with thousands of books, trees and old items attracted the attention of more than 2,000 students and pupils in the city. With the message "Each book - A tree", the Mottainai festival program is designed based on the exchange of second-hand goods with the meaning of saving and avoiding wastefulness of Japanese people.

On this occasion, more than 300 students in 14 majors at Dong A University also officially received the decision to receive internship and work in Japan in 2020 and 2021 from Japanese partners.

In particular, due to COVID-19 pandemic influence, a group of 26 students who have been able to stay will be ready to go to Japan as soon as the regular international flight from Vietnam to Tokyo (Japan) is resumed.

Bringing the most emotions to the viewers at the event was the performance of traditional Vietnamese-Japanese costumes with the participation of more than 200 lecturers and students./.
