Vietnam Journalism Museum established

The Prime Minister has signed a decision establishing the Vietnam Journalism Museum under the Vietnam Journalists Association.

Covering 1,500 square meters, the museum is located at Duong Dinh Nghe street, Yen Hoa precinct, Cau Giay district, Hanoi. In the national museum system, it is scheduled to be put into operation in 2018.

The Prime Minister assigned the museum to collect, investigate, preserve, display and introduce cultural heritages on the establishment and development of Vietnamese journalism; and conduct scientific research to preserve and promote the values of Vietnamese journalism cultural heritages.

The President of the Vietnam Journalists Association will regulate the functions, tasks and organization of the museum.

Earlier, the Vietnam Journalists Association held six ceremonies to receive  more than 13,000 objects and documents related to journalism, journalists and their families./.
