“Aspiration” by Outstanding Artist Hoang Lam Tung has achieved great success on the stage when renewing this classic play.

The story tells of people in a family who were tied in a cramped boat. They spent all day on the boat because of a grievous curse "making a break with people ashore”. They were deeply resentful and bitter when they could not find a place to bury their mother. Even on the boat, there was still the confidence of the father and daughters in the family. The plot breaks down preconceptions, with the love between Giang - the youngest daughter and Thao - the owner of the flower garden by the river.

Overcoming tragedy, the play is a story of the aspirations for change, love and happiness of people./.
