Vietnam to be guest of honor at Havana international book fair 2020

Accordingly, from February 6^th -16^th, 2020, the outstanding annual cultural will be an opportunity for Cuban and Vietnamese publishers to exchange and seek cooperation in literature.

First held in 1982, the book fair initially ran as a biennial event, and from 2000 it began to take place annually. It is considered the most prominent publishing and literary festival in Cuba, as well as in Latin America, attracting the participation of hundreds of publishers from around the world.

Apart from displaying books, the fair also organizes various activities such as film, visual arts, music, literature and history.

Each year, the Book Fair honors a famous writer or cultural figure, and an international guest of honor./.
