This is the result of a working program from 2018 between the Youth Publisher, author Nguyen Nhat Anh and the Japanese side to seek translators, copyright agreements and publishing procedures.

The translation from Vietnamese into Japanese was undertaken by two translators, Hiromi Ito and Sakae Kato. The 365-page book was jointly released by Nikkei Publishing House and Daido Life Foundation of Japan. It tells the story of an eight-year-old boy called Mui. Soon realising that life is boring, he wants to break the tediousness with his friends. Then Mui becomes an old man and finds life is even more boring, so he wants to return to his childhood.
