Artworks and designs inspired by Vietnamese culture during the Nguyen Dynasty (1802 - 1945) are on display at an exhibition which has opened in Sydney, Australia.
Costumes of the Nguyen Dynasty kings were reconstructed and introduced

The exhibition, named “Present from the Past,” was held by the Vietnam Centre, a non-government and non-profit organisation that promotes Vietnamese culture to the world.

Australian visitors had an opportunity to contemplate the unique culture of the Nguyen Dynasty, the last feudal dynasty of Vietnam. 11 young artists passionate for traditional arts, along with eight Vietnamese brands, brought to the exhibition more than 50 paintings, about 20 costumes and a pair of pots to introduce specific features of the Nguyen Dynasty.

The dynasty lasted 143 years and left many deep cultural imprints, becoming an endless inspiration and abundant resource for artists and designers.
