“Night sea” painting by Vietnamese student Vu Nguyen Huong Nhi from Hanoi-based Viet Duc high school has chosen to represent Vietnam in the 20th International High School Arts Festival.

The event is taking place at the National Art Center in Tokyo, Japan from August 7th to 18th with the participation of 19 countries like the UK, China, Thailand, Indonesia, and Vietnam.

Nhi,17, hoped to introduce Vietnam’s natural beauty. She said that with its long seashore, it is an ideal destination for holiday-makers.
The festival, hosted by the International Foundation for Arts and Culture, is an annual venue for expanding culture exchange between Japanese students and those from many countries worldwide./.
