A week to highlight Vietnamese ethnic group’s great solidarity will take place at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism in Dong Mo tourism area of Son Tay town in Hanoi from November 18th to 23rd.

Diverse activities, such as the day on national great solidarity, reinstatement of Cai Rang floating market, seminar on building and developing the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism in the new situation, and the opening ceremony for the first phase of Phap An Pagoda will be held.

The event will draw the participation of nearly 200 people, artists, actors and actresses from 13 groups, including Tay, Dao, Mong, Muong, Thai, Kho Mu, Ta Oi, Co Tu, E De, Khmer, Cham, Kinh and Raglai, from localities nationwide.

It aims to honour the culture of Vietnamese ethnic groups, promote cultural exchange, sport activities and tourism to celebrate the 87th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Traditional Day (November 18th), Vietnamese Cultural Heritage Day (November 23rd); as well as connect localities and ethnic groups in popularize culture and promote tourism at the Village./.
