Youth nationwide light candles to commemorate fallen soldiers

Incense offering and candle lighting have been held across the country on the occasion of the 71st anniversary of War Invalids and Fallen Soldiers Day (July 27th) to show deep gratitude to fallen soldiers who laid down their lives for national independence.



The Central Committee of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union held a candle lighting ceremony at the Central Highlands Dak Lak provincial Fallen Soldiers’ Cemetery with the participation of nearly 2,000 young people. On this occasion, the Organizing Board also presented 10 scholarships to children of war invalids and 20 gifts to policy families.

On this occasion, the Central Committee of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Party Central Committee Commission of Popularization and Education and Vietnam Cooperative Alliance to visit Vietnamese hero mothers, families of war invalids,fallen soldiers, and former young volunteer soldiers.
