Hanoi and Nha Trang have been listed among the ten best cities in Asia for couples to go for honeymoon in Asia by The Travel, a leading travel site of Canada.

Vietnam’s capital ranked second while Nha Trang in central province of Khanh Hoa rounded off the top 10 list.

The Travel describes Hanoi as a "great place for a romantic trip, experiencing Vietnamese culture, learning about local history, and savoring delicious food."

Meanwhile, Nha Trang is described as an ideal destination for newlyweds with enthralling beaches, ancient temples, and the remnants of the ancient Champa Kingdom along with the modern Vinpearl Amusement Park.

Truong Sa calendar application makes debut

The “Truong Sa Calendar” application has been available for free download on the Apps Store and Google Play.

The application includes a solar and lunar calendar, weather, national festivals and holidays, and information about Vietnam’s seas and islands.

It uses images taken by Vietnamese photographers both inside and outside the country when they visited Truong Sa archipelago and the DK1 frame-house.

Initiated in 2018, the Truong Sa calendar project have published nearly 10,000 paper calendars with photos on Truong Sa archipelago and the DK1 platform.

According to Deputy Dead of the project Le Hong Quan, the project is close to the hearts and minds of many people, becoming a bridge connecting those who have visited Truong Sa and DK1 frame-house as well as those who love the sea and islands.

He emphasized that the project has contributed to affirming Vietnam’s sea and island sovereignty, inspiring patriotism and national pride.

Additional five Vietnamese seafood firms eligible to export to Russia

Additional five Vietnamese enterprises are allowed to export their seafood products to Russia starting from December 4th, 2019.

The information was recently released by the Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (FSVPS).

The five enterprises are Seaprodex Minh Hai, Seafood Processing Company 1, Huy Nam Seafood Company, Kien Cuong Seafood Processing Import Export JSC, and Ngoc Tung Seafood Company.

On December 3rd, the FSVPS sent a letter to the Director of the Vietnam Department of Animal Health, that announces its permission for the five Vietnamese seafood enterprises to be eligible to export their products to Russia.

The decision was made after the working between the Vietnam Department of Animal Health and the FSVPS, under which the Vietnamese side persuaded Russia to allow the import of Vietnamese livestock and poultry products and eggs, dairy and dairy products, honey, and seafood products./.
