The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism launches hotline to receive feedbacks, complaints and denunciations; Vietnam Airlines to launch new air services to Bali, Phuket; and Vietnam nominated in six categories of World Travel Awards 2019 are hot news of September 18th.

Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism launches hotlines to receive feedback, complaints and denunciations

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just released Decision No.3171/QĐ-BVHTTDL on establishment of hotlines and an email to receive information about feedback, complaints and denunciations about acts of harassment and trouble for people and businesses.    

 

Accordingly, people and businesses can call to 024. 39437610, 0904.342.536 or email duongdaynong@bvhttdl.gov.vn.

Every month, quarter, six months, year-end or when being requested, staff responsible for receiving feedback, complaints and denunciations through the hotlines will summarize the situation, report to the leaders of the Ministry.

Vietnam Airlines to launch new direct air routes to Bali, Phuket

Vietnam Airlines will open two direct air routes from HCMC to Indonesia’s Bali and Thailand’s Phuket to meet the rising travel demand of tourists on October 27th.

The information was released by the national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines on September 18th.

Accordingly, the carrier will run seven Ho Chi Minh city-Bali flights per week. However, the flight frequency will be five flights per week in the initial period from October 27th to late March 2020 due to the limited capacity of Denpasar International Airport in Bali.

The flights will depart from Ho Chi Minh city at 11h10 and from Bali at 16h50 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Vietnam Airlines will also operate three Ho Chi Minh city-Phuket flights weekly on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays. The flights will take off from Ho Chi Minh City at 15h50 and Phuket at 18h40.

The carrier plans to increase its flight frequency to seven flights per week in late March, 2020.

Besides, the airline will resume its flights from Danang City to Bangkok, Thailand, on October 27th.

According to Mr. Le Hong Ha, Vice General Director of Vietnam Airlines, the carrier will use Airbus A321 aircraft that meet four-star service standards on the new air routes.

Vietnam nominated in six categories of World Travel Awards 2019

Vietnam is listed among nominees in six world’s leading categories of the annual prestigious World Travel Awards (WTA) 2019.

Accordingly, the country has been nominated for World’s Leading Destination, Culinary Destination and Cultural Destination awards.

In addition, the capital city of Hanoi and Hoi An were chosen to race for the titles of World’s Leading City Destination and World’s Leading Cultural City Destination, respectively.

Meanwhile, the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism is also in the running for the World’s Leading Tourist Board.

Vietnam listed in many voting categories for the world’s prestigious awards affirms Vietnamese tourism’s position on the world’s travel map as well as contributes to promoting the image of the country to international community.

The awards ceremony this year for Asia will take place in Phu Quoc island district, Kien Giang province on October 12th. Meanwhile, the world’s awards ceremony will be held in Muscat, Oman in November.
