The adjustment of the master plan for the construction of Thanh Thuy border gate economic zone (EZ) in the northern mountainous province of Ha Giang by 2030 has received the approval of the Government leader.

He asked the provincial People’s Committee to study and receive appraisal opinions of the Ministry of Construction to complete the contents of the adjustment and update them in the master plan.
The master plan by 2010 was approved by the Government leader in Decision 125/QD-TTg dated February 2nd, 2012.
Under the master plan, the scope of planning of the border gate EZ includes administrative boundaries of seven communes: Thanh Thuy, Phuong Tien, Thanh Duc, Xin Chai, Lao Chai and Phong Quang in Vi Xuyen district, and Phuong Do in Ha Giang city.
Thanh Thuy is planned to be a general and multi-sectoral EZ, including trade, service, tourism, industry, agriculture and forestry, to become an area for investment attraction and international integration./.
