Bac Ninh issues certificates of intellectual property to agricultural products

This move is part of the project of building, managing and promoting brands of agricultural products and craft villages of Bac Ninh in the 2018-2020 period.

Accordingly, the organizers granted the certificates for rice cakes of Cho Village in Yen Phong, sticky rice and yellow flowers of Yen Phu commune, and rice sheet, also of Yen Phu commune.

The three agricultural products and trade villages of Yen Phong have existed for a long time and become private brands of local people. However, they still have not affirmed their position in the market.

Building intellectual property for products aims to protect reputation, improve competitiveness and avoid product abuse or counterfeiting.

In addition, the quality of products will be improved, meeting the demand and tastes of the market, and contributing to creating more jobs for workers and serving socio-economic development of the locality./.
