Binh Thuan’s dragon fruits exported to UAE

The Binh Thuan Alliance of Dragon Fruit Processing and Exporting Cooperatives on March 19th shipped a consignment of more than 163 tonnes of dragon fruits to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Mr. Vo Nhu Trieu, CEO of the alliance said the fruits exported to the UAE must be grown and produced to Vietnamese Good Agricultural Practice (VietGAP) standards and must receive food safety certificate from Vietnamese relevant organs.
Currently, the dragon fruits exported to the market are priced at about VND25,000 per kilogram.
Because the UAE is a promising market, the alliance is seeking to expand the export turnover by improving quality.
Binh Thuan’s dragon fruits now appear in 20 countries and territories, including Europe and the US./.
