BSR joins international conference on automation in Thailand

The delegation of Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical (BSR) JSC, led by Mr. Tran Tan Chuc, deputy head of the maintenance and repair department, has joined an international conference on automation in Thailand.

The conference presented and discussed 24 topics related to five major areas: Advanced Technology Control and Optimization; Digital - 4.0 Industrial Revolution; Automation Measurement Equipment; Industrial Control Network Security and Safety Technology.
BSR delegates met and discussed with many experts from oil and gas groups like Petronas and PTT to share technical issues and specialized experiences in management of Dung Quat Oil and Refinery Plant.
They presented three speeches on application of selective protection solutions in combination with SIL standard equipment; influence of lightning and static electricity on vibration signals of the BSR monitoring system and some remedial measures; and solutions for measurement of waste oil at RFCC workshop.
BSR’s attendance at the conference aims to access the latest technology on automation, digital and prospects of Industrial Revolution 4.0 in the world. In addition, the delegations wishes to share some specific experience lessons and technical problems of BSR in order to receive ideas contributed by foreign experts in improving the reliability and stability of Dung Quat Oil Refinery Plant./.
