BSR, NSRP associate to operate oil refinery plant

(CPV) - The cooperative agreement between Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical (BSR) JSC and Nghi Son Refining and Petrochemical Limited Liability Company (NSRP) is following the tradition of cooperating for many years, contributing to enhancing the coordination in management and optimization of production plan.


Mr. Le Manh Hung, Deputy General Director of PetroVietnam hailed the cooperation between BSR and NSRP over the past time.

The agreement was signed on October 5th in Hanoi in order to improve the effectiveness of operating and maintaining Dung Quat Oil Refinery Plant.

In his speech at the event, Mr. Le Manh Hung, Deputy General Director of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam), hailed the cooperation between the two sides in exchanging and sharing operation and maintenance of the Dung Quat Oil Refinery Plant, and hoped that the association will be enhanced in the coming time. 

BSR and the oil refinery plant were put into operation for nearly 10 years, experiencing three times of overall maintenance, and the plant runs stably and effectively with a processing capacity of 110% compared to the designed capacity.

The signing ceremony

Since 2014, BSR provided nearly 80 engineers and experts to NSRP in various fields such as operation, technique, maintenance, and equipment inspection. Earlier, from July 2014 to May 2016, BSR signed an on-the-job training contract for 627 staff of NSRP at the Dung Quat Oil Refinery Plant.

In the first 9 months of 2018, BSR produced 5.3 million tons of products of all kinds, 84.1% of the year’s plan; earning a revenue of VND84 trillion (nearly USD4 billion), 7.3% higher than the year’s plan and contributing VND9.3 trillion to the state budget, 11.1% higher than the year’s plan./.
