In his speech at the event, General Director of BSR Tran Ngoc Nguyen stressed that with the determination of the staff, over the past 6 months, BSR achieved a rapid growth rate while the Dung Quat Oil Refinery Plant maintained safe and stable operation at 110% of its capacity. BSR continued to contribute 20-30% of after-tax profit to Vietnam Oil and Gas Group.
For the 2015-2020 period, the BSR Party Committee focuses on key tasks, including restructuring enterprises; privatizing BSR in 2018; restarting and putting bio-fuels plants into operation in 2018; coordinating with Quang Ngai to develop Energy and Oil Refinery Centre in Dung Quat Economic Zone; divesting capital in BSR, boosting application of information technology and digital solutions in administration and management of enterprises; and researching new and modern solutions for the overall maintenance of the Dung Quat Oil Refinery Plant.

At the event, participants listened to three Resolutions: 26-NQ/TW on building all-level staff, especially strategic level; 27-NQ/TW on reforming salary policy for cadres, civil servants, employees, armed forces and laborers; and 28-NQ/TW on reforming social insurance policy.
Studying and thoroughly grasping the Resolution of the 7th meeting of the 12th PCC is a foundation for BSR’s party committees and party organizations to direct the development of action programs and realize the Resolution.
Earlier, the company organized a training course on Party building for its party cell executive’s members.
BSR now has 652 Party members and admits about 50-60 new ones each year. The BSR Party Committee is also hailed for the quality of party members and organization work.

With the tradition and inheritance of the oil and gas industry, BSR is expected to transform into a successful Joint Stock Company. Over the past 60 years of construction and growth, the industry has always received the close attention and direction of the Party and State.
On this occasion, the BSR Party Committee also carried out a social welfare program at An Vinh kindergarten in Ly Son island district, Quang Ngai province. The school, built from 1996, has 577 children, 17 classes and more than 20 teachers. It is divided into three sites and hoping to have new branch in the future.
During the course, participants visited historical relics on Ly Son island such as Hang pagoda, Exhibition House of Soldiers of the Hoang Sa flotilla soldiers exhibition house, and Ly Son flag-pole./.
