Specifically, in the first half of the year, the administration coordinated with relevant agencies to realize 11 administrative procedures for vessels arriving and leaving seaports in all 25 port authorities.

The organ checked and proposed cutting and simplifying 31 out of 101 procedures in order to remove unnecessary barriers; creating favorable conditions for local people and enterprises.

In the coming time, VMA will focus on building and maintaining maritime infrastructure; realizing projects of researching and upgrading Cai Mep - Thi Vai vessel fairway and 10.000 DWT vessel fairway into Cua Lo port.

It will continue to dredge maritime fairway effectively; and inspect and supervise the implementation of public service contracts.
